  3. Get ready for production

Once your integration is working with test users, you are ready to move to production and collect signatures with real eIDs.

A paid subscription is required. To create signature orders that accept real eID signatures, you must purchase an Idura Signatures subscription.

Moving to production

  1. Upgrade your subscription. You can buy an Idura Signatures subscription with a credit card via the Idura Dashboard. If you expect to use 5000+ signatures per month, contact our sales team for a tailored plan.

  2. Apply for production eIDs. Signing with real national eIDs requires formal approval and production certificates from the respective national authorities.

Ordering eIDs for production

Each eID provider has specific requirements. Use the links below to review the necessary steps for each provider.

We recommend starting the application process as early as possible. Approval and certificate issuance can take several business days depending on the eID provider.

  1. Set up your production environment.

    • Switch the environment from Test to Production in the top-left corner of your Idura Dashboard.
    • Go to the Domains tab and create a production domain. Note that if you choose a domain that ends with something other than idura.broker, we recommend going with the Idura-managed option (Managed SSL certificate) for SSL certificate.
    • Go to the Applications tab and create a new Signatures application to get your production client credentials.

  2. Update your codebase. Point your integration to the production domain and the new production credentials. You are ready to collect signatures in production! Run a quick test with a real eID to confirm everything works as expected.
