Deprecation notice: Signing via WS-Federation

Idura Verify has supported text signing via the WS-Federation protocol since 2016.

When text signing via WS-Federation was launched, many of the available e-IDs supported text signing.

Today, only Swedish BankID supports text signing, which is already available via a more secure OpenID Connect based implementation.

From May 11th, text signing via WS-Federation will start failing in the test environment, to warn customers of the upcoming deprecation.

Signing via the WS-Federation protocol will be removed entirely from the Idura Verify product on 2027-05-09.
